After 3 days of cross-country skiing my best little friend Jenta and I went for a walk around a lake yesterday in the falling snow. I had finished one of my crochet gadgets and took the opportunity to shoot some outdoor photos of the finished wool infinity scarf that I made in a somewhat rustic look with an earth dye.
Let me present one of my of my dear self-appointed “helpers” – he closely follow the crochet process and always claims he “didn’t touch anything” when I get back to continue crocheting – he sure looks innocent enough..
This time I used Drops Big Delight wool yarn, and blended the colour mix Autumn Forest 06 with Chocolate Banana 05 to get som ochry light up’s in the scarf. It is very easy to crochet and to practice on, and you don’t have to sit and count all the time, I just had a stitch marker placed at the start point.
Our little car got stuck in the snow on our way out to the lake, but a couple of my door mats got us out of the situation so we could drive to one of our favorite walking places you can see a bit of below.
Peek-a boo! Happy with my rustic wool scarf in warming earthed colours. Now I’m starting to feel confident enough to crochet stuff for others too, so be warned! ha..ha.. I will be back with a travel gem of Norway soon, so don’t walk too far away dear reders 🙂
